ALL THINGS COSTUMES

CLEAN: Clean shoes are a must at recital. If your dancer's shoes have scuffs or dirt on them, please take the time to clean them up. 

FIT: Is your dancer complaining of their shoes feeling too tight? Remember that your dancer's shoes were most likely purchased back in August and might not fit for recital. If this is the case, talk to customer care immediately to get fitted and new shoes ordered.  

• No underwear should be worn with costumes

• No jewelry

• No nail polish

• No earrings (unless it is a new piercing then a small stud earring is acceptable.)

• No temporary tattoos

• To ensure that there are no costume problems, students should not wear their costumes, accessories, or tights prior to recital photos, dress rehearsal, or the recital.

• Please do not wash costumes in your washing machine; dry clean them only (after recital).

• To release wrinkles in your ballet tutus, hang them upside down on a hanger in the bathroom and immerse them with steam from the shower.
