Only one parent/guardian will be allowed back stage for ages 12 and younger between shows for costume changes.Â
Space is limited and costume changes need to happen quickly. Please be ready with your dancer's entire costume including tights and shoes.
Dancers and parents must respect other's space and property in the dressings rooms.
No food will be allowed in the backstage area. Water bottles only. We don't want costumes stained with any food or drink.
No personal items will be allowed such as toys, electronics, extra bags, etc.
Doors will open 15 minutes prior to show. If you are bringing a young child who may get antsy during the show and cause a disruption, please reserve seats on the end of the row to make a quick exit.
The recital will be professionally recorded and links to download recordings will be sent to all UDA members.
Dress rehearsals may be recorded.
NO VIDEO TAPING WILL BE ALLOWED DURING THE SHOW.
To ensure that there are no costume problems, students should not wear their costumes, accessories, or tights prior to recital photos, dress rehearsal, or the recital.
Please do not wash costumes in your washing machine; dry clean them only (after recital).
To release wrinkles in your ballet tutus, hang them upside down on a hanger in the bathroom and immerse them with steam from the shower.
